So I just had to take a moment to vent and applaud.
When I make calls from my at&t wireless phone, I often often often, did I mention often, get a tone and a message saying the network is busy. When I am away from home and driving places, I find that is the best time to make a call to catch up on my to-do list. This error message has been so annoying! I am so annoyed that I want to call at&t IMMEDIATELY to complain. Guess what? I can't get through! Network busy. I forgot to mention that I just switched to at&t in April so I could bundle my home phone and Directv for a discounted rate. We are talking a great discounted rate. So I have two years of this to deal with. So I finally called today. Got right to a CS representative. She very nicely explained that my area has a lot going on. Two new towers, one will be up and running in October and one in November. Or was it September and October. Either way, that is a long time away. So I pushed the issue, asking for a credit on my account. She credited me a full month's service! I expected 10 bucks or something. I got $46! Now that was worth 10 minutes of my time! So, hopefully this problem will resolve itself quickly but for now, I have $46 more in my bank account.

BP Invigorate gas
My latest BzzKit has arrived and this is probably THE BEST BZZOPPORTUNITY EVER! BZZAgent has sent me a $50 gas card and several $5 gas cards to share with friends. Oh yeah, and there are some BP key chains too. When I shared my first Bzz with my friend Donna (who is also an agent but didn't get in on this campaign-wahhhhhh for her) her eyes lit up. We didn't have time to stay and chat but she quickly filled me in on how BP is the most environmentally friendly gas company of them all. She said Exxon-Mobil is the worst! Scary since I always try and go to Mobile since they are linked to my UPromise account. Every penny counts in saving for our children's education, even if it just scores them beer money for their first weekend away. Anyways, this post isn't about Mobil or college savings, it is about BP. I filled up last night (I didn't have my $50 card on me--drat!) and gas is getting cheaper ($2.84 a gallon!) and I swear the van is running smoother already. Crazy! Maybe I am crazy! Check out BP Invigorate and leave me a comment so I can share with the people at BZZAgent.

Dodge Grand Caravan
I had the opportunity to test drive the new 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan a while back and I am finally getting around to sharing my experience. It has been on my to-do list for weeks, probably months and today is the big day. I guess I have been dragging my feet because I am sad to say that Dodge over did it with this van. I currently own the 2006 model, we aren't fancy people so we have the basics. And, we weren't looking forward to a huge car payment so we waited until the end of 2006 and basically took what was on the lot. We do have a DVD system and the power back door. That is my favorite feature! Anyways, this is about the 2008 model, not my current ride.
When the valet service dropped off the van, I hadn't quite had a full cup of coffee so I wasn't prepared for all the gadgets John was going to show me. Holy Cow! Here are the ones I love, just thought was cool but not necessities, and then the question marks.
Love 'Em:
Power Lift Gate (I mentioned that one already.)
Middle Row Widows (go all the way down!)
Seat Belts (they don't tangle--great for installing car seats!)
Extra Glove Compartment (what mom doesn't need more space to store crap? Think diapers and wipes, people.)
Keyless Entry/Auto Start (OH MY LOVE IT! I could see how the auto start feature could be really great on a hot summer or a cold winter day. I started this baby from like 50 feet away and I was inside the YMCA getting my kiddies from Kiddie Kountry. We are talking thick, cinder block walls, even!)
Like 'Em
Navigation System (can't use it while driving-bo0-who! What about the passenger?)
Two TVs (both can watch something different-but when the middle seat is swiveled backwards, you can't watch either one. Doesn't make sense.)
Leave 'Em
Swivel & Go Seats (they are huge and it makes the back seat area feel so claustrophobic. It made me long for my little Sto & Go seats)
Table in the back (are you kidding me? When the table it up, there are no room for people in the back.)
Flashlight. What?
Sirius Satelite Radio and TV (seriously, the "command center" was so complicated, I needed more than a week to figure it out. It even has a hard drive or something. Crazy. Point is, sometimes I just wanted to get in the car, start the engine, & turn on the radio before driving. Not so simple in this baby! And, the TV only has 3 chanels to choose from. Wimpy.)
I was so happy to have a week with this van. I discovered what I needed and what was just fluff. If I would have driven this guy once with the salesperson in tow, I certainly would have fallen head over heals in love and lost all sense of rationality. I love Dodge, we also have a Durango. We will probably always buy Dodge or Chrysler vehicles. But, if I had $40,000 to spend on a mini-van, do you really think I would be buying a Dodge?

My first blog post...
I have been waiting for this moment for months and today I realized just how simple it is to get my own blog. Five minute set up simple. Crazy simple. What was my problem until today? I will tell you what my problem was...I never asked anyone. I floundered out here on my own setting up accounts with different blogging sites and never got it going. I wanted a site that allowed me to have a cool looking blog, not one that was boring with no personality. So guess what? You get black and white. Seems boring but until I learn more, black and white is what you get. I must simply thank Laura for helping me to see the light. She is a mom of triplets so I suppose she seemed approachable.
I don't know where I want to go with this blog...OK, that is an out and out lie. I want to go everywhere with this blog because as it is titled, it is going to be the world according to me. Who am I? I think we are all going to figure that out together.
